As unwieldy as the setup may seem on paper, Avowed maintains an admirable focus during its 50-odd hours. And I thought I would, given vikingtoto this is a game with a dynamic glossary accessible mid-conversation, à la Final Fantasy 16. Across a handful of discrete “open zones,” Obsidian weaves a compact critical path between a wealth of fascinating sidequests that, while ostensibly optional, feel like the substance of the game. Bigger than it first appears, Avowed is an engrossing and gorgeous action-RPG set in one of the most engaging fantasy worlds going, though it lacks the complex systems of its most beloved contemporaries. [newline]Yet at other times it was wildly unpredictable, like when I’d somehow trigger an alarm performing a stealth takedown even though it appeared that no one else was around. Instead, more often than I’d like my efforts to remain hidden would evaporate, things would get loud, and a number of other problems would present themselves.
Unfortunately, the game can be irritating and even boring at times, which makes it just average. To a T dares to answer that question in one of the most absurd yet profound gaming experiences I’ve had in a long time. Mario Kart World strengthens the series with an interconnected open-world twist that brings fresh energy to its beloved formula. Packed with new tracks and modes, it’s another Mario Kart you’ll want to own.
South of Midnight delights with its looks and soundtrack, which is much better than anyone could expect. It’s a shame, though, that aesthetic experience isn’t followed by equally great gameplay. Blades of Fire stands out with its engaging combat system and weapon customization.

Planet Coaster 2 Review
Players are transported into a world of gardening, puzzle-solving and storytelling within ten minutes. The game is set in ‘the miniature capsule toy’ like the iconic Polly Pocket character. This is a game that doesn’t rush you, but rather slows down, explores, and contemplates. Hotel Architect immerses players in the fast-paced, frequently chaotic realm of hotel administration, where visitor satisfaction, logistics, and innovation all come together.
This isn’t a story beat that slowly gets revealed over time as the alters realize why they were created, but a head-on breach of the topic. You are immediately confronted with the reality of your decision. The game wants you to understand that the alters are more than just your labor force, they’re people with experiences and memories – even if they’re simulated. Jan Technician decided to stand up to his abusive father, whereas Jan Prime left for university and never looked back. There’s tension between the two men upon realizing this, and it quickly becomes apparent how someone so close to you can also simultaneously feel so far away. There’s also a life-saving ‘uphold production’ option where you can set an item to a minimum number, and it will automatically add that item to the production queue when it falls below that number.
Once I’ve attacked—whether from cover or using an invisibility spell—every baddie in the vicinity knows I’m there. Avowed is surprisingly combat heavy, especially in its second half. It’s possible to play with the usual array of melee weapons—swords, axes, spears, maces—but you’d be missing out on a lot if you’re not playing Avowed like 21st century Hexen, mixing powerful ranged attacks with down-and-dirty close quarters hacking. Every one-handed weapon can be dual-wielded, so I normally roamed with a grimoire in one hand and a fire-enchanted sword in the other, raining down elemental area of effect attacks on bears, bugs and lizardmen before sprinting in to hack away. For the magic averse, it’s also possible to muscle about with a mace in one hand and a pistol in the other, for example.
